The fitness trend was launched in Sydney in 2014 and has developed a cult-like following around Australia, with more than 150 studios in NSW from Wagga Wagga to Woolloomooloo and more than 900 worldwide.

The name stands for “functional, 45-minute workout” and incorporates a variety of popular exercises into high-intensity classes. In any one session you might be skipping, boxing, lifting weights, using cardio machines and doing plyometric exercises.
