That is the way Walkley Award-winning journalist Leigh Sales says she felt before a series of tragic events turned it upside down, beginning in 2014. In her book Any Ordinary Day, Sales describes leading a “gigantically lucky life” up until her 40s. She had a great childhood, close family, awesome friends, happy marriage, healthy baby boy and plum job.
