Aileen Kennedy
Dr Aileen Kennedy is a legal academic in the Faculty of Law at UTS, appointed in 2023 as a Chancellor’s Research Fellow. Since 2015, she has been a director of InterAction, Australia’s foremost peer-led advocacy and support organisation representing the interests of people with innate variations of sex characteristics (IVSC, also called ‘intersex’ variations). She is a leading national and international scholar on law relating to sex and gender, with a specific focus on researching IVSC human rights law.
