Alexia Yazdani is a busy solicitor with a big load to bear. ‘’The time is there – it can be done,’’ the bodybuilder says.

Alexia Yazdani wasn’t always the active type. When she was younger, she hated sport. At school, she disliked PE so much that she would feign sickness so she could go to the library and read. She started going to the gym at university and decided to take it a step further early last year.

“I told my husband, ‘I am going to do a fitness competition next year’,” she says. “I just thought, ‘I work well under pressure and I’ll put myself into the competition to see if I can do it’.”
