Your favourite legal magazine has earned bragging rights for scooping finalist nominations in six categories at the 2020 Mumbrella Publish Awards.
For the fifth year running, LSJ has been named a finalist for Association or Member Organisation Publication of the Year – a category it has won for the past three years in a row.
LSJ’s COVID-themed cover from the May 2020 edition (pictured), featuring a powerful image of Lady Justice gagged by a surgical mask and gloves amid the pandemic, was listed as a finalist for Magazine Cover of the Year.
Editor Claire Chaffey was named among three high-profile finalists for Editor of the Year in the business publication category.
Journalist and Online Editor Kate Allman will vie for a gong in two categories for Young Writer of the Year and Journalist of the Year, while Floyd Alexander-Hunt is up for Young Writer of the Year for her entertaining Avid for Scandal columns (see page 104 for an example of her wit).
Winners will be announced at a free virtual ceremony on November 5, 2020.
