Terry Carney
Terry Carney AO is an Emeritus Professor of Law at the University of Sydney and Visiting Research Professor at UTS. He has written extensively on social security, oversaw the writing of the 1991 Social Security Act, chaired the National Advisory Council on Social Welfare and served for nearly 40 years as a member of the Social Services and Child Support Division of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and its predecessor the Social Security Appeals Tribunal.
