You left school years ago but doing your homework is key before you negotiate your salary, says Sonia King, a human resources specialists at King Consulting. “Arm yourself with fact before asking for a raise,” King says. “Research salaries for similar roles, use Seek, as recruiters and know your contribution to the business.”
