A group of senior lawyers at the Sri Lankan Attorney-General’s Department visited Sydney recently to participate in a week-long intensive course on International Commercial Arbitration, held from 30 April to 4 May.

Course convenor Damian Sturzaker, a partner at Marque Lawyers and Visiting Professorial Fellow at UNSW, was joined by guest speakers including the Chief Justice of the Federal Court of Australia, the Honourable James Allsop AO.  Following lectures and workshops hosted by the  Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration, UNSW and BakerMcKenzie, the Law Society of NSW was delighted to host a number of lectures and a lunch for the participants and guest speakers on the final day of the course.
