In leadership there is an age-old debate: is it better to be liked or respected?

In my view, being respected, approachable and likeable is a winning combination. After all, it’s often stated that a bad boss is the number one reason people leave their job.

However, given you find yourself in a position where you don’t like or admire your boss, here are some strategies to help you thrive despite this.
