Tania Waterhouse is a tax lawyer whose passion for flowers has brought colour and variety to her career.
When she was growing up, Tania Waterhouse didn’t plan to become a lawyer. But having a front-row seat to Australia’s most significant constitutional crisis may have influenced her career. Working as a young administrator at the then Parliament House, she heard something “big was happening”. “We saw Laurie Oakes and Michelle Grattan rushing to see Gough Whitlam on the steps,” she says. “I was in the room above, looking down at the start of the Dismissal, watching it all happen in front of me.”
