The Law Society Library offers a practical collection of publications which aims to meet the information needs of solicitors practising in NSW.

Library Holiday Closures

The Library will be closed on Tuesday 20 December 2022.

All Library services will conclude for the year at 12pm on Friday 23 December 2022 and return at 9am on Monday 9 January 2023.
Where possible, please submit all requests for assistance to [email protected] by 4pm on Friday 16 December 2022.

Solicitors with current NSW practising certificates may avail themselves of the following Library services and facilities:

  • A curated digital collection of key practice books and text books.
  • An easy to navigate library catalogue with ‘select and request’ functionality.

  • Quiet study areas when attending the Library.
  • Public access terminals with complimentary access to the internet as well as to a number of online subscription services.
  • Free Wi-Fi.

Practitioners are reminded of the Library’s curated collection of digital resources. We have various eLooseleaf services and eBook titles available via the LexisNexis Red ePlatform.
